  2. Good Afternoon, thx for the reminder to post regarding the giveaway.

I am a huge PG Tips fan, though my first intro to tea in England was with my host family in 1984. They served Assam Tea and it is truly my favorite. It has a subtle, smoky quality and I always take my brewed tea with milk and sugar/sweetener—-with of course—-a biscuit/cookie and/or a scone. That is when I am not on lower carbs!

I do like Trader Joe’s ready to eat Orange Cranberry Scones without butter or jam as they are sweet enough.i will, once we get through the big holiday eating events in November & December, investigate their mixes-thx for the tip! Yes, on Thanksgiving low carbohydrate eating will be on hiatus.

I had a serious injury falling on the last step of our stairs more than a year ago, and part of my continuing recovery over the year plus was a lovely mug of tea and a TJ Orange Cranberry scone each afternoon. My DH became quite the expert in making the tea just right according to the “training” I received from my host family in making a proper cuppa! So yeah, I am an Anglophile!

Looking forward to your continued updates and hope Brett has sufficiently recovered!
